TART SHRIMP SALAD WITH CILANTRO AND PEANUTS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the shrimp until golden. Alternatively, grill the shrimp on a well-oiled grill and then set them aside.
  • Combine the shrimp, apples, shallots, cucumber and coriander leaves in a bowl and season with the fish sauce and sugar.
  • Toss to combine, garnish with the peanuts and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 200 grams large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 apples, peeled and coarsely grated or thinly sliced
  • 2 small red shallots, peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, deseeded and finely sliced
  • 1 bunch coriander leaves, coarsely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
