Preparation Method :

  • Remove the outer skin and seeds from the orange pieces.
  • Blend the blanched almonds and water in the liquidiser.
  • Put into a pan and bring to boil.
  • Add the sugar and stir over the heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Add the rice slowly to the milk and stir gradually into the simmering sugar and almond mixture. Cook, stirring gently until the mixture thickens.
  • Remove from heat. Mix the orange segraments into the rice mixture and transfer to a serving dish.


  • 100 grams blanched almonds
  • 450 ml water
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 3 tablespoon rice powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 3 peeled oranges
