Preparation Method :

  • In a frying pan heat 2 tablespoon oil, reduce heat and add chilli powder. Mix in crushed garlic, fry a little and add chicken pieces. Fry to a pale colour.
  • Add chopped spring onions, fry for a minute, add bamboo shoots & fry for 1 minute. Reduce heat.
  • Add chicken stock, salt, sugar, pepper, aji-no-moto and soya sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Mix cornflour with little water, reduce heat and add it to the chicken, stirring continuously. Add capsicum.
  • Further cook for 3 - 4 minutes. Serve hot.


  • 500 grams chicken - shredded
  • 3 capsicums, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 4 flakes garlics, crushed
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons shredded bamboo shoots
  • 200 ml chicken stock
  • ΒΌ teaspoon each of salt, sugar, pepper & aji-no-moto
  • 1 teaspoon sherry
  • 3 teaspoons soya sauce
  • 3 teaspoons cornflour dissolved in 50 ml water
