SLICE CHICKEN IN HOT GARLIC SAUCE

Preparation Time :
35 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the chicken breast into even sized slices.
  • Marinate the chicken in all the ingredients of the marinade & keep aside.
  • Heat 4 tablespoon oil in a wok & stir-fry the chicken for 2 - 3 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
  • To the oil remaining in the wok, add garlic & chilli paste. Saute & add tomato ketchup.
  • Add the capsicum, onion & spring onion & stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add chicken. Stir-fry & add salt, aji-no-moto, sugar and stock.
  • Dissolve cornflour in 2 tablespoon of water & thicken the sauce, stirring continuously. Finish with malt vinegar.
  • Serve hot along with boiled rice or noodles.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams chicken breast boneless
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 2 teaspoons chilli paste
  • 1½ tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • salt - to taste
  • 1 teaspoon aji-no-moto
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 50 ml stock
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon malt vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon capsicum - cut into tiny cubes (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon onions - finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons spring onions - finely chopped

Marinade

  • 1 egg
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon aji-no-motto
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
