Preparation Method :

  • Wash rice. Soak in water for half an hour. Cook in rapidly boiling chicken stock.
  • When done, strain, spread on a tray. Cool under a fan. Rice should remain separate.
  • Heat oil in a wok and fry onion till very light brown.
  • Add green chillies and ajinomoto.
  • Add cabbage and carrot and stir fry for 1 - 2 minutes.
  • Add boiled shredded chicken. Sauté for a minute. Add salt and sugar.
  • Add soya sauce. Mix well.
  • Add rice. Mix well. Add pepper powder.
  • Add spring onions. Mix and remove from fire. Serve hot.


  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 1 onion - finely sliced and chopped
  • 2 green chillies - chopped
  • ½ teaspoon ajinomoto of a cabbage - thinly sliced and chopped finely
  • 1 carrot - finely chopped
  • 100 grams boiled chicken - shredded
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pepper powder
  • 2 spring onions - finely cut
  • 3 teaspoons soya sauce
