Preparation Method :

  • Combine pork, soy sauce and cornflour.
  • Heat 3 tablespoon oil in a wok. Add pork mixture and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add half spring onions, capsicum and salt. Stir fry for 1 minute. Add rice, almonds, stir frying to blend ingredients. Remove from heat.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok. Pour in beaten eggs to form a flat omelette. Cook for 1 minute. Flip over and cook for further 1 minute. Remove from heat and cut into thin strips.
  • Spoon rice on to a serving dish and garnish with egg strips and remaining spring onions.


  • 250 grams lean pork - thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 60 ml Cooking oil
  • 4 spring onions - cut in ½ inch pieces
  • 1 medium size capsicum - cut in fine shreds
  • 400 grams cooked boiled rice
  • 100 grams almonds - toasted
  • 2 eggs - lightly beaten
