Preparation Method :

  • Remove rind from chops, cut chops into long, thin strips.
  • Combine garlic, five spice powder, soy sauce, sugar, sherry, lemon juice, ginger, coloring and pork; cover, refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Mix corn flour into pork mixture. Thread pork and pepper onto skewers, barbecue until pork is tender.


  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry sherry 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon shredded red ginger 
  • 750 grams lean pork chops 
  • 2 cloves garlics, crushed 
  • ½ teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 3 drops red food coloring
  • 2 teaspoons corn flour
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
