Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in wok. Add onions and ginger, stir-fry 3 minutes. Add curry powder.
  • Stir-fry to release flavors. Add beef, stir-fry over high until color changes, 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Stir in sherry and sugar and coconut cream. Simmer covered 3 minutes.
  • Blend corn flour with remaining stock. Stir in to thicken.
  • Serve at once. 


  • 5 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 kg onions, shredded
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger root
  • 4 tablespoons curry powder or paste
  • 1 kg grilling steak, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons sherry
  • 500 ml beef stock
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons canned coconut cream
  • 4 tablespoons corn flour
