SEAFOOD WITH NOODLES

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Add noodles to large pan of boiling water, boil uncovered 3 - 5 minutes or until tender. Drain, rinse under hot water, spread on absorbent paper.
  • Heat oil in wok, add shallots, garlic, chilli, pepper and ginger, stir-fry 1 minute.
  • Add prawns, squid and Sauce, stir until mixture boils and thickens. Add egg noodles, toss until heated through.
  • Sauce: Blend corn flour and water in pan, add sherry and soy sauce. Stir constantly over heat until Sauce boils and thickens.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams fresh or frozen egg noodles
  • 500 grams green king prawns, Shell and devein.
  • 500 grams squid, Clean, cut into rings.  
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 4 green shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon finely chopped chilli
  • 1 red pepper, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 100 ml water
  • 50 ml dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
