STIR-FRIED SPINACH WITH BAMBOO SHOOTS

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Tear away the stems of the spinach. Thinly slice the bamboo shoots.
  • In a wok or large frying pan, heat the oil over high heat. Put in the bamboo shoots. Stir-fry ½ minute and remove.
  • Put in the spinach. Stir-fry 2 minutes. Add the sauce and sherry, and stir-fry ½ minute more.
  • Replace the bamboo shoots. Continue cooking ½ minute. The vegetables should both still be crisp.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams spinach
  • 250 grams tin bamboo shoots
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons tamari or shoyu sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
