BAMBOO AND WATER CHESTNUT PORK SOUP

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
1 hour 30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • In boiling water add carrots, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.
  • Cook on high heat for 20 - 25 minutes and then simmer at low heat for another 1 hour.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Serve it hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams fresh pork shank (blanched)
  • 1 carrots (cut into large pieces)
  • 7 water chestnuts (washed and peeled)
  • 1 fresh bamboo shoots (sliced)
  • 1 Litre of water
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
