STUFFED CHICKEN WINGS

Preparation Method :

  • Combine prawns, ham, ginger, sesame seeds, corn flour, sugar and sherry.
  • Cut the small drumsticks off the wings, leaving the middle piece and wing top intact.
  • Twist the wing at the joint between the middle piece, scrape the meat away; do not break the skin. Pull away bone.
  • Fill bone cavity with teaspoonfuls of prawn mixture.
  • Combine soy sauce, five spice powder and honey; brush mixture over chicken wings; deep fry in hot oil about 5 minutes or until wings are golden brown.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 chicken wings
  • 250 grams green prawns, shelled, Devein; chop finely.  
  • 50 grams ham, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon corn flour
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
