Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7.
  • Heat the oil in a small pan; add the onion and garlic and saute till translucent. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Add the mashed potatoes and sausages and mix well. Add salt and the crushed peppercorns and mix again.
  • Cut each pastry sheet in half. Divide the sausage mixture equally among the pastry halves, placing it at one end of the pastry sheet. Brush the beaten egg mixture around the edges and fold into triangles.
  • Place the triangles on a lightly oiled baking tray. Bake, uncovered, for about twenty-five minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve hot.



  • 6 sheets filo pastry
  • 300 grams chicken sausages, chopped
  • 3 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 2 large onion, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 8 black peppercorns, crushed
  • 2 eggs, beaten lightly
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 teaspoons Cooking oil
