Preparation Method :

  • Beat eggs lightly with corn flour and stock. Heat as medium-sized frying pan, grease lightly with shortening or oil.
  • Add egg mixture to form a thin omelette without holes. Cook one side only.
  • Turn out with cooked side up. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  • Combine all the filling ingredients. Spread a quantity of the mixture over each omelette to cover.
  • Roll up carefully. Place seam side down on a lightly greased plate. Steam omelette 30 minutes.
  • When cooked cut into 2 cm diagonal slices and serve with dip sauce.
  • To make sauce, combine light soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  • Served cold with salads.  


  • 6 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons chicken stock or water


  • 500 grams lean pork or chicken, minced
  • 2 small onions, finely chopped
  • 5 Chinese mushrooms soaked in warm water 20 minutes and chopped
  • 100 grams chopped bamboo shoots
  • 2 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour salt and pepper

Dip sauce

  • 4 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
