Preparation Method :

  • Soak the rice papers in water for one minute before using.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and stir-fry the spring onions and water chestnuts for about two minutes. Add the ginger, soy sauce, red chilli sauce and rice vinegar.
  • Stir-fry for another two minutes ensuring that the vegetables remain crunchy and are not overcooked.
  • Add the bean sprouts and stir-fry for another minute.
  • Divide this mixture into four portions and place a portion on each rice paper. Roll up tightly.
  •  Serve immediately.



  • 6 rice papers
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 200 grams chopped water chestnuts
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon red chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 200 grams bean sprouts
  • 3 tablespoons plum sauce, for dipping
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
