Preparation Method :

  • Blend ground pork well with salt, ginger wine, and pepper and let stand for 20 minutes.
  • Marinate prawns with extra ginger wine and corn flour for 20 minutes.
  • Place filling in the center of each wonton skin. Pinch edges up to make a frilly border.
  • Leave a hole in center to let the filling show a little bit and place a prawn on top.
  • Place in a steamer and steam for 25 minutes.
  • Serve at once.  


  • 500 grams very lean ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger wine
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 30 medium-large shelled prawns
  • 3 teaspoons ginger wine
  • 4 teaspoons corn flour
  • 30 wonton or dumpling skins
