Preparation Method :

  • Combine chicken, fish fillets, celery stalks, shallot, and light soy sauce, salt. Place mixture onto each wonton skin. Brush edges lightly with egg white.
  • Fold to form a triangle. Place a dab of egg white on the left front corner of triangle.
  • White on the left front corner of triangle. Join the front of the left to the back of the right side of triangle to form a swallow.
  • Deep-fry in oil to cover until golden. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
  • To make sauce, combine water, sugar, white vinegar, tomato sauce, corn flour in a saucepan. Beat and stir until boiling.
  • Serve in bowls.  


  • 30 wonton skins
  • 2 beaten egg white
  • Cooking Oil for deep-frying


  • 200 grams chicken, finely chopped
  • 200 grams fish fillets, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 2 small shallots, finely chopped
  • 4 teaspoons light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Sweet and sour sauce

  • 250 ml water
  • 250 ml sugar
  • 250 ml white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
