FRENCH NUT STICKS

Preparation Method :

  • Beat egg whites stiff with a beater.
  • Add sugar and salt gradually, beating until thoroughly blended.
  • Now add the nuts.
  • Place mixture in the top of a double boiler and stir over hot water until mixture thickens slightly Shape into finger length rolls.
  • Place them on a greased baking this.
  • Bake in a moderate oven 180 degree Celsius for 12 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 egg whites (beaten)
  • 200 grams sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 200 grams walnuts (chopped)
  • 150 grams pecans (chopped)
