Preparation Method :

  • Put potatoes, carrots, onion and celery one after the other to form layer in a cooker.
  • Mix salt, thyme, pepper and caraway in a separate bowl and sprinkle half over vegetables.
  • Sauté chicken in oil till it turns brown and it transfer to cooker. Top this with apple.
  • Combine apple cider and vinegar in another bowl and pour over chicken and apple.
  • Season this with remaining salt mixture along with bay leaf.
  • Cover and cook on high flame for 3-4 hours or until chicken is cooked and vegetables are tender.
  • Now remove the bay leaf.
  • Stir it and garnish with parsley.
  • Serve hot.
