Preparation Method :

  • Peel the raw, green mangoes slightly. Grate the mangoes.
  • Add the jaggery and salt to the grated mango and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • Blend the mangoes in 2 batches in a blender, adding two cups of water per batch.
  • Strain through a coarse sieve.
  • Now, blend the remaining pulp on the sieve with two more cups of water and strain.
  • Add cardamom powder and rose water. Cool and serve.


  • 2 Raw (unripe) mangoes
  • 100 grams Jaggery
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • ½ teaspoon Natural rose water
