Preparation Method :

  • Place the yogurt in a jug or pitcher , whisk until frothy and add the sugar.
  • Pour in the water and the pureed fruit, and continue to whisk for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the lassi into serving glasses and serve chilled, decorated with crushed pistachio nuts.


  • 350 ml natural (plain) low fat yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, or to taste
  • 300 ml water
  • 2 tablespoon pureed fruit, optional
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pistachio nuts, to decorate
