Preparation Method :

  • Dry-roast the cumin seeds for about a minute or two. Cool slightly, then grind using a pestle and mortar.
  • Place the yogurt, milk, lemon juice, dry-roasted and ground cumin and salt into a blender or food processor.
  • Add some ice cubes and blend briefly.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, then pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.


  • 250 ml natural yogurt
  • 250 ml chilled milk
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ice cubes
