VELLARIKKAI THAYIR PACHADI

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the black pepper and cumin powder and the salt into the yogurt.
  • Mix the yogurt with cucumber in a serving bowl and stir to coat them. Adjust seasoning with salt.
  • Refrigerate at least for an hour. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper and cumin powder
  • 350 grams plain yogurt, whisked smooth
  • 30 grams finely chopped red onions
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 teaspoon minced fresh coriander leaves
