Preparation Method :

  • Cook the rice in 3 cups of water and mash to a creamy consistency.
  • Add the yogurt and mix very well.
  • Mix in the ginger and adjust seasoning with salt.
  • Serve at room temperature


  • 150 grams extra long-grained rice, rinsed, soaked and drained
  • 500 ml yogurt, whisked smooth
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
