Preparation Method :

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a deep pan, as the water will boil over small pan.
  • Add the drained dhal to the pan with the turmeric powder.
  • Cook, uncovered for about 15-20 minutes or until dhal turns creamy.
  • Set aside without draining.


  • 150 grams dhal, washed, soaked and drained
  • ½ turmeric powder
