Preparation Method :

  • Chop figs finely. Crush the figs to a make a paste.
  • In a medium flat pan, combine the sugar with 7 tablespoon of water and boil. Cook on low heat for about 2 minutes to prepare a sticky sugar syrup.
  • Add the ground figs, coconut, nuts and cardamom powder to the syrup and cook for 3 minutes over a slow heat, stirring continuously.
  • Remove from the heat. Grease a the aluminium burfi tray. Shape the anjeer mixture to a square on it. Top with green pista. Cool completely. Cut into small pieces.



  • 200 grams dry figs
  • 10 tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 7 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • 200 grams mixed nuts
