Preparation Method :

  • Remove seed from jackfruit, pressure-cook for a whistle. Mash well Melt jaggery in a ¼ glass of water over fire and strain to remove scum.
  • Add the mashed jackfruit with jaggery over fire and stir well.
  • When it thickens and forms a jam add the ghee. Cool and store in a sterilized bottle.


  • 2 kg of Jackfruit 
  • 600 grams of Jaggery
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee
