Preparation Method :

  • Heat a pan, add ghee and fry the almonds till turns light brown. Keep Aside.
  • In another pan, heat ghee and saute the grated carrots for 2 minutes. Keep Aside.
  • Boil the milk in heavy bottomed pan, simmer till it is reduced to three-fourth its original quantity.
  • Add the sautéed carrots and mix well.
  • Add the sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
  • Add the cardamom powder and kewda water and mix well.
  • Garnish with almonds and Serve.


  • 500 grams Carrots, peeled and grated   
  • 6 tablespoons Ghee      
  • 20 Almonds
  • 2 Liter Milk         
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder   
  • 2 teaspoon kewda water
