Preparation Method :

  • Pour milk in a thick bottom kadhai. Add crushed seeds of cardamoms and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Keep on slow-medium heat till reduced to half, for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Add the dissolved cornflour, stirring continuously. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar and stir for 3 minutes to dissolve sugar.
  • Add grated paneer, stir gently. Remove from heat. Do not stirring continuously. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture in a serving dish, spoon the soaked saffron over the kheer, refrigerate to set. 5. Garnish with vark. Top the dish with lots of almonds and pistachios. 



  • 1 kg full cream milk
  • 100 grams paneer-grated into long strands
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • Seeds of 3 green cardamoms - crushed
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour dissolved in milk
  • Few strands saffron - soaked in milk


  • 2 tablespoon finely shredded pistachios
  • 2 tablespoon finely shredded almonds
