Preparation Method :

  • Boil the milk, stirring frequently, till it is reduced to three-quarters.
  • Add the almond paste, sugar, crushed cardamoms, nutmeg powder and saffron. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Serve chilled.


  • 2 litres milk
  • 150 grams almonds, soaked, peeled and grinded to fine paste
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 4 green cardamoms, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 1 teaspoon saffron strands
