Preparation Method :

  • In a bowl, place the cubed bread ,pour the milk on it and keep it aside for an hour.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Grease 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl ,mix the eggs, sugar and vanilla essence.
  • Pour this mixture onto the bread mixture and then spread the mashed bananas and raisins.
  • Add rum, cinnamon and nutmeg powder.


  • 1 loaf bread, cut into small cubes
  • 2 table spoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Bananas, mashed
  • 800 ml Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 200 grams Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Splash of rum (optional)
