Preparation Method :

  • In a bowl, add corn flour, maida, rice flour and mix well by adding water to make a batter.
  • Heat a pan, pour water and sugar.
  • When it turns to syrup form, add saffron and let it boil for a while.
  • Heat sesame oil in a pan
  • Dip the sliced apples in the batter and fry the apples one by one and put in the sugar syrup.
  • Garnish with almonds.


  • 2 apple, slice as rings (centre stem removed)
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour                                      
  • 2 tablespoon rice flour                                     
  • 2 tablespoon maida                                         
  • IDHAYAM Sesame oil for frying

For sugar syrup

  • 250 grams sugar  
  • 1 litre water                                       
  • ½ teaspoon saffron                                       
  • 2 teaspoon almonds chopped
