Preparation Method :

  • Slice the flesh of the ripe mangoes and add them in a blender. Blend it to a smooth paste and place the pulp in a muslin cloth to drain excess moisture and make the pulp very thick.
  • Take the yogurt in a bowl and whisk well. Add sugar and whisk until the sugar dissolves.
  • When yogurt turns light, add drained mango pulp in it and mix well until it blends together.
  • Add cardamom powder and pistachios and mix well.
  • Refrigerate and serve chilled.


  • 800 grams plain yoghurt
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 3 fresh ripe mangoes
  • ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon pistachios, sliced
