Preparation Method :

  • Fry the cashewnuts and raisins in 1 tablespoon ghee for 5 minutes or till the colour changes to light brown and keep aside.
  • Heat the remaining ghee. Add the semolina to it and fry till light brown.
  • Dissolve the orange colour in with measured water and pour in the pan. Keep stirring.
  • Simmer to low flame and when all the water is absorbed, add the Milkmaid. Stir well till the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.
  • Spread on a greased serving plate. Top with nuts and raisins.
  • Cut into squares. Serve warm or cold.


  • 2 tablespoons cashewnuts chopped
  • 300 ml water
  • 100 ml condensed milk
  • 150 grams semolina (rawa)
  • 100 ml clarified butter / ghee
  • 12 raisins
  • A few drops of orange colour
