Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee inheavy bottom pan over medium heat.
  • Add vermicelli and stir fry until golden brown.
  • Add water and salt. Increase the heat to medium high and bring it to boil.
  • Add vermicelli and cook till become soft.
  • Add sugar, raisins, cardamoms, crushed saffron, almonds and pistachios.
  • Mix it well and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Turn off the heat, cover the pan and let it sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with scraped coconut, pistachios and almonds.


  • 200 grams vermicelli broken in small pieces
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • Pinch salt
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds and pistachios
  • 4 cardamoms shelled and crushed
  • Few strings of saffron
  • 2 tablespoon Scraped coconut

    i hav also tried a bit of khoya in dis same recipie and it tastes wow really!!
