Preparation Method :

  • Soak almonds in hot water for 15 minutes and peel skin. Grind into a coarse paste. You may add a little milk while grinding
  • Boil milk and keep aside.
  • Soak saffron in 3 teaspoons of boiling milk and extract essence by pressing with fingers until the milk turns orange.
  • Add sugar and keep stirring until it dissolves. Add saffron, stir well before adding the almond paste.
  • Dissolve it well and make sure there are no lumps. Pour into a vessel.


  • 200 grams of Almonds 
  • 1½ liter of Milk 
  • 100 grams Sugar 
  • Saffron a few strands
