Preparation Method :

  • Boil the milk and let it condense to half the quantity.
  • Dry - fry the rava till it turns light brown in colour.
  • In a bowl, mix the rava and maida and add constantly to the milk without forming any lumps, to a pouring consistency.
  • Heat the oil in a deep frying pan.
  • Take the batter in a laddle and pour in circular movements into the oil to form a small pan cake.
  • Turnover and take it out from the oil, once it is smooth.
  • In a heavy bottomed vessel, boil the water and add sugar till it turns into a syrup of thread consistency.
  • Dip the malpua in the sugar syrup and place it on a platter.
  • Garnish with pistachios.


  • 500 ml Milk
  • 50 grams Maida
  • 50 grams Suji
  • 200 grams IDHAYAM MANTRA Peanut oil
  • 500 ml Water
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • Pistachios for garnishment
