Preparation Method :

  • In a heavy bottomed vessel, cook the chopped pineapple with little water.
  • Add ghee and sugar to the pineapple and cook till soft.
  • Add yellow colour, thin coconut milk and condensed milk and bring to a boil.
  • Add the thick coconut milk and put off the flame.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan. Fry the cardamoms, cashews and raisins and add to the Pineapple Payasam.
  • Serve chilled.


  • ½ ripe pineapple, finely chopped
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 400 ml thin Coconut milk
  • 200 ml Thick Coconut milk
  • 100 ml Condensed milk
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • 10 Raisins
  • 1 pinch yellow colour powder
  • 10 grams Ghee
