Preparation Method :

  • Blend the almonds in batches along with little milk into a smooth paste.
  • Take a non stick pan and add ghee and add the almond paste. Cook it in low heat for about half an hour or until it turns thick and lightly golden.
  • Heat the remaining milk until hot and then slowly add it to the almond paste. Stir and cook for about 3-5 minutes and then add sugar. Stir well.
  • Add the cardamom powder and the saffron.
  • Cook for few more minutes until well dissolved.
  • Garnish with blanched almonds and serve chilled.


  • 225 grams Blanched Almonds
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Milk, as needed for consistency
  • Few saffron strands
  • Few blanched almonds for garnish
