Preparation Method :

  • Boil the water and once when it starts to bubble, pour the rice flour and stir for few seconds.
  • Cover and let it cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and leave it to stand for 2-3 minutes.
  • When warm shape the dough into small balls and keep aside.
  • Heat sugar and the reserved water in a deep pan, add in the grated coconut, cardamom powder and keep stirring till everything gets blended well.
  • Add the milk and rice balls and stir for another 5 minutes or until it turns to sauce consistency.
  • Stir in the ground sesame seeds and turn off the heat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre water, reserve a cup of water
  • 350 grams sugar
  • 300 grams rice flour, sieved
  • 100 grams sesame seeds, toast and coarsely grind
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 100 grams shredded fresh coconut
  • 400 ml milk
