Preparation Method :

  • Grind the cooked rice into a smooth paste. Knead the rice flour into the paste adding salt.
  • Make it into golf ball size balls.
  • Smear the girdle with oil.
  • Place one dough ball on the skillet and flatten it into a round.
  • Make a few holes in the roti with your forefinger. Add a few drops of oil on the roti.
  • Place the girdle on medium flame. Cover the roti with a lid.
  • Cook for 5 minutes. Remove lid and turn the roti. Cook on the other side for 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot with chutney.


  • 500 grams cooked rice
  • Salt to taste
  • Rice flour as required
