Preparation Method :

  • Grind all the ingredients to paste.
  • Marinade the chicken with the paste, salt, turmeric and lime and allow to stand for atleast 1 - 2 hours.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add sliced onion. Saute for 2 minutes, then add in the chicken and add in the measured water. Cover and cook till tender.


  • 1.5 kg boneless chicken, Clean and cut into quarters.
  • 125 ml Cooking oil 
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves
  • 10 Green chillies    
  • 1 bunch Mint leaves        
  • 5 grams Cloves    
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger    
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic
  • 2 teaspoon Green cardamom    
  • 5 grams Cinnamon stick    
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder    
  • 50 grams Onion, Sliced    
  • 2 Limes    
  • Salt to taste
