AMBOT TIK MASALA

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pot and add in the sliced onions. Cook till the onions are browned.
  • Add in the ground spices and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Stir to prevent the spices from burning.
  • Add in some water and bring it to a boil. Simmer to low flame and add in the squid pieces and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until they are done. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Squid, cleaned, washed, cut into pieces, apply salt and marinate
  • 45 grams onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Ground to Paste

  • 50 grams Dried red chillies
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 teaspoon Peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoon Turmeric whole
  • 2 tablespoon garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 tablespoon Tamarind juice
  • 2 tablespoon ginger, peeled
