FISH CAKES

Preparation Method :

  • Knead all the ingredients till smooth except egg and crumbs. Form into oval cutlets. Roll in crumbs and deep fry to a golden colour.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • IDHAYAM MANTRA peanut Oil for deep frying
  • Bread crumbs
  • 550 grams fish, boiled and flaked
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 3 slices of bread, soaked in water and squeezed dry
  • 100 grams tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 100 grams onions, minced, fried in little Cooking oil
  • 3-4 flakes garlic, minced, fried in little Cooking oil
  • ½ inch piece ginger, minced, fried in little Cooking oil
  • Handful of coriander leaves
  • 4 green chillies, minced, fried in little Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
