Preparation Method :

  • Boil the ground paste with all the ingredients except eggs and vinegar for about 10-12 minutes. Strain and cool.
  • Pack eggs in a jar and pour the vinegar on top. Cover tightly and use after a week. They can be used in salads or sandwiches.


  • 12 hard-boiled eggs, shelled
  • 500 ml vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon sugar

Ground to Paste

  • 1-inch piece cinnamon stick
  • 10-12 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon coarsely pounded mustard seeds
  • 10-12 peppercorns
  • Red chillies, to taste
  • 4-6 flakes garlic
  • 1-inch piece ginger
