Preparation Method :

  • Mix the mangoes slices with salt and set aside a day. Heat half the oil and fry the spices till a nice aroma comes out of it.
  • Remove the mangoes from the brine and mix in the paste. Adjust seasoning with salt and chilli.
  • Put in a jar and cover with remaining oil. Set in the sun for about 10-15 days.


  • 12-15 medium mangoes, washed, cut into slices
  • 750 ml Cooking oil

Ground Coarsely

  • 20-25 flakes garlic
  • 4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • 50 grams mustard seeds
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
  • Salt and chilli powder, to taste
