PORK SERPOTEL

Preparation Method :

  • Add the oil and fry to a golden colour. Add the ground paste and cook till the oil separates.
  • Cook stirring till the pork turns tender. Cool thoroughly and store in airtight bottle.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg pork, cleaned, washed with vinegar and marinated in vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 90 ml Cooking oil 
  • Salt to taste

Ground to Paste

  • 12 red chillies
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 5-6 peppercorns
  • 1-inch piece cinnamon stick
  • 3 flakes garlic
  • 1-inch piece ginger
  • 2-3 green chillies
