PRAWN MASALA FRY

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the prawns together with garlic paste, salt and turmeric. Heat the oil and fry onions till soft. Add in the prawns and fry to a golden colour.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients and cook till the prawns turn tender and dry. Decorate with coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 550 grams prawns, cleaned, washed and drained
  • 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 150 grams onion, minced
  • 4-6 flakes garlic, ground
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon powdered cumin seeds
  • 1 coconut, shredded
  • 2 tablespoon tamarind juice
  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • Salt and chilli powder to taste
