TIGER PRAWN WITH SZECHWAN SAUCE

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate in salt and pepper for about 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Dust the prawns in cornflour and deep fry till golden brown.
  • In a pan, saute chopped garlic, chilli paste and tomato ketchup. Add stock and seasoning. Boil and thicken the sauce.
  • Arrange the crispy prawns on a plate and pour hot sauce over it. Garnish with spring onion and served with rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Tiger prawn, cut, deveined and cleaned
  • 100 ml Fish stock  
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 50 ml Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Chilli paste  
  • 50 grams  Spring onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour
  • Salt and pepper to taste  
  • Cooking oil for deep frying
