Preparation Method :

  • Grease a frying pan lightly with oil. Pour a little batter into the pan swish it around and pour off excess, leaving a very thin layer of batter in the pan. Leave it on just long enough to set.
  • When all the pancakes are made, spread a portion of mince filling on a pancake, fold the sides and roll into a tight roll.
  • Moisten edges of rolls with cornflour paste to seal. Deep fry the rolls to a golden brown colour.



  • 350 grams refined flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 ml water
  • Salt to taste

For filling : Ground to Paste

  • 550 grams minced mutton, boiled
  • 100 grams onions, fried in little Cooking oil
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • ½ inch piece ginger, fried in little Cooking oil
  • 3-4 flakes garlic, fried in little Cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon powdered cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • A few coriander and mint leaves
  • Salt and chilli powder to taste
